Doing the Work!

We are on the journey, in process of exploring our lives in our 50's and I am excited to be reading Byron Katies book, Loving What Is! I am especially excited to be doing this work with you two gals, Deb and Joni. Let's post our thoughts and questions and help each other with this journey!

    Oh yes Joni, we will be taking this very slow. I am very excited to be working with you all,and furthering the work I have been doing this past few months in my own life. I will start the book tonight and here we go!

    Hi Girls! I just wanted to share with you that last night I went on line to the www.thework.com site and downloaded several forms. There is a list of about 6 or 5 that I found that will be useful to me. Check it out and see what you think.I also watched the 15 minute video to get a sense of how B. Katie runs the seminars and how to begin asking the hard questions in my life. I really like listening. I had been a little confused...it's a little more clear now.

    As I'm reading the book, I am keenly aware that I have been a victim of my own
    "stinkin thinkin!" and that there is a new way on the horizon. Sort of along the lines of "taking every thought captive". However, I've only read first two chapters so I still may not know what the heck I'm talking about!Ha I'm going to go to the site like you suggested Deb and check things out.
